Secret Supper

I have one eye on Saturday. We have 21 members of the Sinfonia of Birmingham booked in for High Tea at 5.30 before their concert in Witley Church at 7.30. And we'll be serving a 3 course supper to some of their audience from 6.
A 3-course supper of what?
Yet to be decided.
It'll involve local asparagus.
That's as far as I've got.

  1. Strawberries ? I've seen recipes for roast pork fillet with a strawberry and chilli glaze ! Or grilled lamb steaks with a mixed salad of leaves, feta, green beans and strawberries..(probably Australian).

    Rhubarb still going ? Creme brulee with a little stewed rhubarb in the bottom ..

  2. We're still waiting for our local strawberries. There are some Herefordshire ones in the farm shop. We do still have rhubarb. MAN, I LOVE RHUBARB. I like the lamb steak idea especially...
